So, something has gone wrong with my body. My back is killing me, a pain that starts at my very lowest point that can still be called a back and running all the way down my left leg. Ow ow ow. It hurts to get up, to roll over, but I can walk once I'm up. I can do what I normally do, it's just getting from one position to the other that's a pain in the ... back. I worked half a day and when I took my lunch, I didn't go back. It just hurt too much.

One of the things that I can't do, however, is pick up my son. Well, I can do it, but it hurts. A lot. And then, to put him back down hurts even more. So of course, my wife says, "Oh, you're home, so I will go to the store and leave you with him!" Brilliant. Now he keeps getting into things he shouldn't, and I have to go pick him up and put him back in the living room. We haven't gotten a gate yet because gates are very expensive for the size doorway we have.

Oh well. I'll be okay, I hope. Saturday I have softball practice, so I hope I'm better by then!
